The You-Tube video that BC posted showed Jan Opperman winning the Tampa Winter Nationals in 1974. He also won in 1973 and according to the program he pocketed $775.00.

Thad Dosher was the 1973 IMCA sprint car champion.
Sporsmanshiip Award was given to Buzz Rose

Best Dressed Pit Crew - Bill Utz

IMCA held 22 races that year. Opperman 2 wins, Kenny Weld 2, Bill Utz 7, Thad Dosher 3, Gene Gennetten won at Des Moines, Jerry Hanson won back to back at St. Paul MN.
