Looks like the Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee could be gone. The city wants to buy the track.

No different than the people who buy land in a country setting then complain about the smell of manure from the dairy farm next door and expect the farmer to do something about it. I have no problem with progress and urban expansion, but these idiots who buy land or homes without looking at what is around them deserve no sympathy.

Here in Denver Colorado area they complained about the air traffic from the Airport knowing it was there when they moved in. So they built a new Airport DIA twenty miles out. But there were no motels close by , so all the infrastructure built up around the new Airport ( including residential neighborhoods) now they complain about the noise there!!!

Bloomington property was bought by IU. Once they get all the EPA and permits Bloomington will be closed at end of 2023.
