So did the people that pushed D.S.T. through just not think of this obvious result??? Or, was your local Electric Co. one of the folks that said we just got to have D.S.T.!!! :idea: :idea: :censor:

OTOH, I'm a night person. I'd like to see DST all year round. I have no interest in more daylight in the AM. I'm probably not up yet, and I'm certainly not outdoors. Hell, I'd go the other way ... make tomorrow's 9 hours of daylight from 1100 to 2000. :-)

Ok I have a problem with the increase use of heating and AC, a 1% increase would probably be less then the % difference in weather conditions. I would blame the increase of electrical usage on more DVRs, PCs being used over previuos years and more people staying home because of the increase in gas prices.
