PARAGON AND LINCOLN PARK SPEEDWAYS UP NEXT FOR SCHAEFFER’S OIL INDIANA RACESAVER SPRINT CAR SERIES

(AUGUST 19TH, 2020): Coming off of the highest car count of the season, the Schaeffer’s Oil Indiana RaceSaver Sprint Car Series will travel to two of the more historic race tracks in the state.
On Friday, August 28th, the series will make its first ever appearance at the Joe and Jill Spiker promoted Paragon Speedway. This appearance marks the first time any winged sprint car event has been held at the Paragon Speedway since the 1990’s. The 3/8ths mile paperclip shaped track has been a staple in the Morgan County farmland since 1954, and have seen many superstars cut their teeth over the years. Names like Kinser, Mitchell, Amati, Darland, Butler, among others have won races and championships at Paragon over the years. Who will be the first to etch their name in the history books for the Schaeffer’s Oil Indiana RaceSaver Sprint Car Series? Pit gates at Paragon Speedway will open at 4:30PM EST with Hot laps hitting the track at 6:40EST. General Admission will be $20, with the pits $30.
The next night, on Saturday August 29th, the series returns to Lincoln Park Speedway in downtown Putnamville, Indiana for its third appearance of the season. On July 4th, Ethan Barrow collected his second victory of the season over Bradley Sterrett, Andy Bradley, Ryan Tusing, and Bradley Galedrige. On July 25th, Sterrett proved victorious over Casey Shuman, Bradley, Cody Trammell, and Rod Henning. Check the Lincoln Park Speedway website for pricing information at

Bradley Sterrett currently leads the points standings going into next weekend's events with 193 points. Andy Bradley sits six markers behind with 187, Ethan Barrow third with 185, John Paynter, Jr fourth with 179, and Jordan Welch fifth with 163.
The Schaeffer’s Oil Indiana RaceSaver Sprint Car series was founded in 2015 as a weekly class at Bloomington Speedway. The Indiana RaceSaver Sprints are a touring sprint car series in the states of Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois. Each race season has seen growth in car counts, races per season, and a wider variety of race tracks on the schedule. The series operates under the IMCA sanction and follows all IMCA and RaceSaver rules
