IOW gang,

I am in search of sprint car prints ( I think pen-n-ink drawings or pencil drawings ) that artist Bob Lorton did in the early 70's to the 80's. I already have a number of these prints, but I'm looking for the ones I don't have. All of the prints that I have are sprints from the 70's and all the cars have roll cages. I am aware of one print of Dickson in the #27 with no roll cage ( don't have that one ). I have tried ebay with no luck, I have searched yahoo and google and go motor bids too. I have checked the Knoxville site, the Pitstop Books site. Anyone with ideas or knowledge these prints that Bob Lorton made, please let me know.

Thanks,
Lee

I have two of Bob's drawings he gave me in the 1980's relating to the Indy 500. Sorry they're not sprint car related. I am responding as I've been trying to track down info about his other drawings and this is the first mention of him I've seen posted anywhere.

Gearheads, the greatest toy store in the world, is open every Friday and Saturday and is located at the front gates of Raceway Park in Cleremont. Bob has 1 employee right now and that is Bob himself, so as soon as you walk in the front door he will greet you. www.gearheadsindy.com for more information. And for those of you in the central Indy area get out to Gearheads and buy some toys, Bob would love the business and you'll add some great toys to your die cast collection, jmho, bob.
