My brothers and I met yesterday for lunch at a place called Crossroads Cafe, near Marshall, IL. It was my brother Terry's idea, because he had heard that they had really good fried Walleye. That turned out to be true and that deal you a really good portions, too. And the waitress told us that Wednesday is all you can eat Walleye. I think she said they also serve Bluegill and Perch. They also serve burgers and other cafe fare. So, if you're on the way to THAT and you haven't had lunch or a late lunch, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. It's right off the I-70 Marshall exit, just North of the Interstate, across IL-1 from the truck stop, which I think is a Road Ranger.

Between you and Stephen Cording, race fans need never eat anything less than excellent food!

Folks on here always give good dining advice. I can remember one time stopping at a drive in and a car hop brought out a tenderloin so big she could hardly get it through the window.

Jerry, you had me going there for a minute!! I thought you meant I-74 when you said those of us coming from the West! We won't be able to make this place on the way to THAT this time but I'll file the info and location away for when we're traveling I 70 in Eastern Illinois.
