Just wondering - do Hoosier race tires meet Federal DOT requirements? ANd do they have a DOT number? I'd be inclined to think that any race tire just isn't safe enough to be used as a street tire - if not to yourself, but also to others...If one were to blow out, and cause a crash, and harm someone, and you were found to be using illegal tires, you'd be open to a BIG lawsuit.
So why risk your street rod and your safety? Spend $400 and buy a pair of big Mickey Thompson's that are DOT approved...and they'll probably last a bit longer, too! But hey, it's his money and his street rod, so he can do whatever..... |

Just so you know the 105/16 F75 is not street legal but we do offer a street tire for HotRods called a Pro Street Radial. If you have questions call (or have your neighbor call) 317-858-1234
