The AMA Grand National motorcycles ran every year at Terre Haute back in the 1960s and through most of the 1970s. I don't know what it will be like next year but back then they always put on a good show and drew some pretty large crowds as well.
Kinda of hard for Sargent to have race at terre haute on Saturday,1 drag strip has weekly shows, 2 Sargent is promotor at Macon, also weekly Saturday show, 3 has hard enough time getting 20-30 sprints for races anyway, so on a Saturday with all the tracks that run sprints, it would probably be a hit to his pocket,
This is not an AMA Grand National points race where the minimum purse on a half mile is $44,000 with $7,000 to win...but this is an open date so if the purse is decent then most of the top riders will be there....This should be a great show!
