I was at the opening race for the Non Wing Sprints at the Speedway last night, only 8 cars, people say it doesn't pay enough. But people will tow to Florida and California? How much does that pay? I had a fun time work'n w/ a racer who was there alone. He runs on used tires but having fun, face it no NASCAR owners gonna call you on Mon asking you to drive for him
Spartan Speedway he refers to is in Lansing, Michigan area. 1/4 mile paved track runs non-wing open sprints about bi-weekly. Usually draws around 15 or so sprints the weeks they run.
I take US 127 south from 69 (North of Lansing) past I 96 to next exit Holt Rd, turn right go to College Rd turn left & takes you right to the track, nice place, Jul 1st I believe is their next NW Sprint race
