Pretty nasty crash for these two in California last night. Hoping both are ok and back in their cars soon. The latest news I've seen had Johnson with a concussion and in the hospital for observation while Pittman is flying back to Indy to meet with an orthopedic specialist.

Kudos to Kraig Kinser for helping Pittman out of the burning car. Unfortunately at a number of tracks drivers are the only ones on sight fully covered head-to-toe with fire retardant safety gear and are in a position to help out.

Daryn Pittman just tweeted he has a broken collar bone but is doing just fine.
