Hi "DAD". The term A-GRADE Midget is/was a common term used in New Zealand.
It is "EXACTLY" the same car as used worldwide. IE: As per POWRI - BADGER - USAC - Both in chassis and power plant.
The pictures are done by Alistair Watt in New Zealand and the Calendars are "SPECTACULAR".
The 1st picture above is of Ted Tracey in his Beast midget. He is a legend and raced worldwide. Ted is a past Multi time Champion now retired.
The 2nd picture is of one of my own Midget cars raced by my Nephew Michael Kendall whom races worldwide and is also a Multi time Champion.
Michael is a current racer to this day.
I would like to think that Alistair Watt may choose one of my other Sons ( Leyton or Dion ) or my Nephew Leon Burgess in the upcoming calendar. Have to wait and see.
The Yellow and Pink car was a Stunning standout looking car.
After Michael stopped driving for me I had a very well known racer put his butt in the seat and that was Brett Horrobin whom also raced worldwide joining up with Lawson racing California with Billy Boat.
In later years I had Jac Haudenchild, Dave Darland, Tony Elliott, Brooke Tatnell and many other well known racers run my cars.
I will be at Chilli Bowl in the POWRI trailer working with my Midget team
if you need further details come on over and ask for me.
I hope this answers your question.
Lyndon Kendall.
