Taking grandsons to 4-crown. Are there any places near by for horseback riding during the day? Also is there a radio am/fm station to listen to track announcer while at the track ? Thanks for any ideas.

If you are willing to drive a little bit, Air Force Museum is not too far away. Otherwise, not a whole lot to do durning the day by Eldora.

I believe the quarter midgets will be racing on the little track during the day.

I highly recommend the museum. I went there in July man I was blown away at how many different types of planes they have and plus it's free

I do not know of any places for riding that are closer to the track, but here are a couple of options:

Carriage Hill MetroPark
7800 E. Shull Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424
(937) 278-2609

Royal Creek Farm

Thanks for all the help . Wright Patterson AFB sounds like a great idea.

You will really enjoy the musuem. Be sure to visit the presidential plane hanger. Think you have to sign up to take the bus over to it so do this when you first come in. You actually get to board some of the old Air Force One Planes.
