Well, it's less than a month away, the return of the USAC sprints for their Eastern swing....Many of us here in Pa CAN'T FREAKIN' WAIT, WE LOVED the shows and the racing last year, but as it is getting a bit closer now, man of us are wondering what kind of roster we can expect this year, about the same car count as last year (not counting any Pa locals) or maybe a few less, just for the fact of traveling because of the cost of fuel....Was looking over the roster with my bro, and we came up with about 16 "definites", but there were some ???'s....like the Jeff Walker cars, he brought both cars in last year....Tim Kaeding has on his sked the Pa shows from when it was posted before the year started, anyone know if he still plans to come to these shows....And what about the guy that all of Pa/Md FELL IN LOVE with last year, The Modern Day Cowboy Darren Clayton, I mean this guy put a show on and EVERYONE LOVED IT, but does he have plans to come in this year, if he does, I guess he'll be in his own car ???....Just looking for info before the shows roll around, and I knew just the right place to come IOW, thanks in advance for any info, I'm curious to hear what info ou guys have about this upcoming swing the first week of June, IT CAN'T GET HERE FAST ENOUGH

These are just guesses on my part but here goes; Definates should be the Stewart team (Jones & Hines), Kahne (Bacon & Sweet), Kunz (Hagan & Whitt), Truckers (Clayton & Messeraull), Pace (Darland), Hoffman (Coons Jr.), Contos (Cottle), Leffler (Gardiner), VKCC (Hockett), Ballou, and Josh Spencer. Brady Short and Dustin Morgan I see as maybes. And I'm fairly certain that neither Foxco (Stanbrough) or Benic (?) will be going. Who have you heard that will be racing among eastern drivers? All I know of is Billy Pauch. I'll be making the races at Grandview, Williams Grove, and Big Diamond. Not waiting for Hagerstown, I'll be back at Gas City Friday night.

So far, not hearing too much about the locals, but I'm guessing "word" will start to get out now that it's getting pretty close....Billy Pauch will be in the Zemco #1....I believe I heard in an interview with Billy Pauch Jr that he mentioned he'll run the non wing sprint again, I'm guessing the #55 he ran last year....Fast Freddie Rahmer has on his sked he'll run the Gview and Wm Grove show...Steve Buckwalter said he's running the midget all of the shows, but the sprinter right now is a ???....How about Bob Ream Jr, he came in from Phoenix last year....As I hear about more locals who plan on running these shows I'll post them....keep the info coming of ya hear of any others, thanks.

My bro talked to Scott Benic at Eldora last week, he said he'll definitely be in for the Eastern swing....A side note, Benic told my bro Scotty weir will be racing for him this weekend....Stanbrough is definitely a NO, told my bro that last week at Gas City before it got rained out....I was hoping Cottle would come East for this swing, you say you think he will, I sure hope so.

jesse hockett is running for benic at gascity for the kiss show.(at least thats what hockett said).shane cottle said earlyer in the year that he will be doing the eastern swing for contos racing.....also who will be driving for benic for the eastern swing.......:Steer

Good to hear that Scott Benic will be towing east. Wouldn't Brad Kuhn be driving for him? Cottle is running for the USAC title so he will be there for sure. Also good that Kenny Biro and Chad Boat will be there. What about either of the Michael's - Sean or Curt? Any other URC or Posse guys?

It's on Kaeding's sked on his web site, tkaedingracing.com....but that sked was put up before the season got going, was just wondering if anyone heard any updates if he still has plans to race these shows next month, I sure hope so.
