I thought I would remind those here what kind of privilege you have in watching Chris Windom wheel a sprint car regularly. In an awesome race between Danny Smith, Windom and Jerrod Hull - with the wings on at the MOWA Sprint Week Show at Jacksonville, Windom made a pass on the veteran Smith for the lead in only his third night out with the wing.
Windom held the lead for a few laps when a bent steering arm caused him to fight the car the rest of the night and allowed Smith to get back by. Eventually Jerrod Hull would get by Smith on a last lap restart with a dive/slider to the bottom that stuck. Finish: Hull, Smith, Windom.
Watching Chris make strides with the wing over the past three days (his first 3 nights with the wing) has been our pleasure over here. Now he's headed back across the border for the Bob Darland at Kokomo. Make sure you appreciate the talent.
