Hope everyone stays safe and warm. I'm stocking up on the beer and going home!

I stocked up on pizza and beer yesterday, so as long as the power doesn't go out I'm good for a few days. I don't know how the weather is where other people are, but its nasty here in Macomb, Il where I am. We have quite a bit of snow and the wind is blowing hard now.

We got way more sleet than what the weatherman predicted, but now they have substantially donwgraded the snowfall predictions. We're still likely to be dealing with below zero temps later this week.

From the looks of the radar, it seems to be going through pretty fast. I might get to go home normal time tonight. half the news staff stayed here and will sleep here.

Got 14 inches of white stuff on the ground here in my part of MI, doin great. Snow blower worked like a champ, went down & did older lady's sidewalk while the truck did the driveway. Now to relax.
