I'm figuring on heading to Terre Haute Wednesday evening. It's about a 3 hour drive for us and if anyone would get any pertinent information, such as if there will be support classes and how many laps the Silver Crown feature will be, please pass it along.
Does THAT have a curfew and if so how late would it be?
Thanks.
Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.
At the ISW event last week, they indicated that the race was definitely on. I don't have any other details. I would guess that the starting times would be similar to that for the last ISW show.

There is a curfew at midnight.....but depending on support classes, I see no reason the races shouldn't be done by 11pm. Last week, it was done at 10:30.
I haven't seen anything regarding ticket prices. Same as other shows at THAT this year? Does anyone know if they have prepped the track at all since last week? The race is day after tomorrow, I would like to think they are already started getting the surface ready. Anybody close by the track, have you seen any activity?

The fair was going on up until Saturday, and they had motorcross on the front stretch then also. I can hop by there today and see if anything is going on (maybe grab a photo) since I have to go to that end of town.
I'm really looking forward to this show, the last Silver Crown race I saw at Terre Haute was really good. They ran a "count the yellow flag laps" the 1st half of the race but did not count yellow flag laps the last half. Just wondering if they will run that type of format Wednesday. Also, will it be group qualifying or individual qualifying for this show? Does anyone have any definative info on the status of coolers in the grandstands?
Thanks in advance.
