Had a great time. Opening nights are always a blast and it wasn't nearly as cold as I thought it was going to be.

Have posted photos from the event.

I would like take a moment to thank the staff at Gas City. Combined with a good & quick program the people there are one of the reasons the track is among my favorites.

Don't want to sound like butt kissing, but when you deal with a lot of tracks you soon learn the ones that that are media friendly and the ones that would like you to jump through a hoop every year for credentials. Gas City is one of those places with a strong reputation and are consistent year in and out, and are to be commended for that.

When I was walking back to my truck with my 2 riders I asked what time it was. They told me and I stopped in my tracks, think it was around 10pm something. Told them jokingly I felt like I was robbed, 3 classes and it's only around 10 something. Man in Michigan with 3 classes your lucky to get out by midnight. Great show racing was awesome, congrats Bobby Ballou on your win hope the drivers that crashed are ok and over their soreness. Great job to Jiggs & his staff.

I agree, great night, great track. Still the best dirt track in the country and we've been to most of them.
