Saw a FB post that said Seavey was going to be in the Cheney #42 for the rest of the USAC season in the Midwest. Saw that neither of the Baldwin/Fox #5 cars were at Circle City tonight.
Logan looks very average in the Baldwin #5. Glad to see him get out of that car and try something else. Had it not been for his Silver Crown results he was headed to irrelevancy IMO. I really think Logan Seavey is a credit to the sport and USAC in particular.
What I could never figure out is why do the Baldwins continue to run Alex Banales? You won't get the rah rah Dr. Pat explanation from Me. Alex has been racing for a few years now and shows no signs of improvement. I heard somewhere he is great friends with the Baldwin's and that's fine. It's their money.
ps - You can replace "Alex" with Sterling and it will be fine. This is a National Tour.
I can think of several USAC sprint car owners that have campaigned multiple cars for a season but have any ever won a championship that were part of a multi car team?

Stewart, Kahne, Kunz. Dutcher, Hoffmans would put out a second car at some big races but didn't normally run two.
