The Brownsburg Bullet held off Jason Meyers to win the WOO race at a dusty Eldora. It was pretty dusty for the heats but did not seem to be any worse for the feature. A good crowd was on hand and the beer was good.

Joey has been running pretty strong there the last couple of years. Some bad luck or he would have had possibly 3 more wins. Schatz has also been running strong there also. Should be a good one tonight.

Assuming it's still on, what's the best way to get there from Indy, and how long does it take?

Joey looked great last night. Those winged fans can drink with the non-wingers, that's for sure. The tv people there said it will be live on Speed Sunday night if rained out tonight. Dust wasn't bad at all overall. Watered the track off and on all night. Got to say hi to Earl and Berniece. They both look well. Dick, I usually go I-70 through Richmond and turn north 10 miles later and go around Greenville and hang a left to Rossburg, then north. Stayed at Winchester this time, though, and took 32 east to 47 then north on 118 and that was easy. Take a lawn chair for comfort. Under the stands is stuffy as heck.

I had forgotten how loud it was under the main grandstand until I was under there for the start of the feature.

We sat in Turn 3. It was different perspective than I have normally had. It was pretty neat.

Hey, I got some bad info from a guy on the TV crew at Eldora last night. He told me it would be shown live but I just checked Hosehead.com and it shows it being a taped show on Sat. the 19th 1-3 pm est. Sorry if I messed anybody's plans up on this and you were fired up to see it live.
