Here's a video clip of the scary ASCS2 Midget flip during the Cowtown Sprint Nationals by Brandon Hahn; posted by Tom Hahn of ASCS2:

Brandon quickly emerged from the car after the crash and raced later that night.

On a personal note, there is no question that new Ecotech engine package in a Midget can work after seeing the quality of the racing last weekend.

The bottom line is that if fans can see a quality midget show and the teams spend $20K less on an engine than currently, what's not to like.

I'm already looking forward to the ASCS2 midget series finale at Cowtown at the November Sprint Shootout on Nov. 12-13. Several teams have entered since Wednesday's registration launch. Click http://www.CowtownSpeedway.com for more information - and have a great weekend!

It's a shame we have to get 'ink' this way, but as you can see from the little bit on this video, the cars are racey. Glad the Hahn kid is OK.

I know what you are saying Revolution...this was the first Cowtown race for that new series, and the cars were 3-5 wide in about every race. If other clips of the racing portion surface, I'll post them too...but for right now, this is the only one I have come across.

Normally ASCS gets out tons of PR on the sprint events, and I would suspect that ASCS2 will start putting out more 'official' releases in the near future...especially since some types of racing are starting to decline, while this is growing.

I'm looking forward to their November return to Cowtown.
