Dec. 8, 2008 (VALPARAISO, IN) JBD Race Promotions is pleased to announce Kankakee County Speedway will be visited by the USMTS, United States Modified Touring Series, on August 7, 2009, for a $3000.00 to win show. Kankakee County Speedway modified drivers will be able to test their abilities against some of the finest modified drivers in the country. KCS modified drivers can earn weekly points toward the entry fee of the event. We welcome the USMTS and look forward to a spectacular show. The USMTS will be announcing their title sponsor in the weeks ahead.

JBD Race Promotions is also pleased to announce that Kankakee County Speedway will be visited 4 times by the Illini Racing Series. This fast paced mini sprint action should be missed by no race fan.

JBD Race promotions is pleased to announce that Kankakee County Speedway will be visited 5 times by the 600 Racing Legends Series. The legend drivers will be on hand April 17, 2009 for an exhibition and to demo their car for perspective drivers. This racing series is working hard to build a fan base and we look forward to giving them an opportunity.

I attended (and shot) my first USMTS show this past weekend. Man, was I impressed. Easily the best racing that I have seen in the Houston area this year. And three nights of it. It was even better than a couple of the sprint car events I have been to; but don't tell that to the folks over on the sprint car side of the forum. . . .
