How is Dave doing in his recovery from the sprint car accident? Is he close to returning?

He finished 6th at Gas City last Friday Night in his car but hurt the engine according to his FB Page.

Dave was in the Dustin Smith #77 for the Josh Burton Memorial tonight at Bloomington. Per his FB post, blew the oil filter off while leading in his heat, started last in B and was leading when motor blew.
