Excellent races in both the modifieds and late models. McKinney, Ledford, and Brooks 3 wide battling for the lead for about 10 laps before McKinney secured the win in the mods. Spatola chasing down his cousin Heckenast and taking the lead, only to have Frank retake the lead on the last lap for the late model win. IRA/MOWA feature was also very entertaining. Macedo was a bullet all night but he had to work to get by Schultz. Then Thiel tried to chase him down in lapped traffic but couldn't get close enough to make a move. Balog put on a show coming through to 2nd, getting by Thiel on the last lap after a nasty slider on a lapped car coming off of 2. Well worth the 2 hour drive and $25 to see my 3 favorite classes on one of the best tracks in the midwest.
