There is a 100% chance of corn dogs with the possibility of scattered funnel cakes and elephant ears...

Provided that it isn't a complete washout, the wife and I will be attending The THAT for the first time. What do we need to know? My wife definitely loves her elephant ears...Lol. Thanks for any input! Wish I was going tonight.

Get there early to avoid the $5 parking fee. This will also allow you to get a good parking spot to enjoy ALL of the festivities and give you an easy departure after the races. Great venue with the fair! I love the tradition of the track, but the racing isn't as enjoyable to me as the smaller tracks. PERSONAL OPINION ONLY!

I would also consider ear plugs if considering sitting under the covered section. I only sat there once but if I remember correctly it was pretty loud. This coming from someone who never wears hearing protection 🙈

I would strongly recommend walking through the tunnel to the infield and getting a good look at the cars hot lapping and getting into either turn 1 or turn 3. If you haven't experienced that perspective it is breathtaking the first time you see it.

I hope that they actually work the track. The spring silver crown race track was BAD! Dust before even a throttle was cracked. THAT is supposed to have a cushion, not just loose dust and dirt above the groove. OK I said my piece, now weather permitting I'll see you all there Wednesday
