are the back stretch stands open ?

Yes they are. The handrails were shipped Monday and have not arrived yet.

I sat there Monday night, they're very nice. I sat up pretty high and it actually changed the feel of Kokomo a bit. I'm used to being much closer and will have to play around with it a bit to see where my favorite place to sit now is

The new backstretch stands are great! You can get really high (no pun intended! ) & see the whole track, nice breeze, no sun in your eyes, less crowded..... until people figure it out & they become the preferred seating

I got there about 3:15, got a good seat on the front stretch, went over to explore backstretch....took one look,that was it! Moved.....

Gigantic crowd. It's a good thing those backstretch seats were added. They were full, along with all the frontstretch seats!

It was PACKED last night. Not sure when I've seen more people there. The parking situation was crazy. Can't imagine how many people were stuck afterwards

I watched on ppv. It would appear there were more people at Kokomo than at yesterday's Xfinity race at Kentucky Speedway!

The back stretch bleachers are nice.......EXCEPT for the guy with the stadium seat that was literally leaning back 3 inches from my seat!!! He sure looked comfy but I had to either straddle him or lean left or right with my legs....and no he wasn't an older fella. ugh.
