Where is he now? What is he doin' now?

I found these stats in the Silver Crown book.

Top Row Jim asked the question on midget madness.

I do believe that he moved back to his native state of New Mexico when he quit driving.

He slowed down after flying out of the ball park at Salem in turn 3, endding up near the property fence outside of turn 4.

My older brother and I were crew members for Roy that day. Dave Hodson from Richmond, Indiana owned the car, a red stapp built sprinter with gold numbers (#38). Beautiful car. It flew a long way! Ended up way out by the pond outside turn 3. That was a bad day. I agree with D.O., Roy wasn't the same driver after that ride.

I'm thinking it was 1978. It is the same as today, a big, fast, highbanked half mile paved track. Similiar to Winchester.

Sorry Larry, no idea where he is now. I also heard years ago he went home to New Mexico.

I was there that day. I can understand why he wouldn't be the same after that ride.
