Tonight (7/31) at I-96 in Michigan the 360 winged sprints will be racing! Hot Laps and Qualifying at 5:00 with racing at 6:00. If you are looking for a race to hit there should be a great field of cars. IMCA mods are running the support class. I've heard great things about the new track surface. The weather looks perfect! See the flyer for mor information.

17 year old Chase Ridenour has finished in the top 4 in each of the stand alone GLSS events, plus winning the last two nights at Tri-City and Merritt. Reclaimed the points lead last night. Should be a good one tonight.

And Ridenour just swept the weekend. 1 fast time, 2 heat wins, and 3 A-main wins. That is 4 wins in the last 5 races.

He is hooked up! Sounded like a great race. I thought last year he would have a break out year. Looks like this is his year. I love that he isn't afraid to race anywhere against anyone.

Settled in to third at the start, passed Stambaugh for second with 5 laps left, then passed Daggett for the win on the final lap in turns one and two.

I always told him the second win was the hardest to get. Got his first when he was 15, and it took him two years to get his second. Now he has picked off 3 in a row, and won 4 of the last 5. Leading GLSS points with two point races left. Rumor has it they may head to Knoxville this weekend, but they have a points race back here during the 410 nationals.

Hats off to him. Beating Daggett 3 races in a row makes it that much more impressive. Besides Ruhl not many guys if any had won 360 races in Michigan over the last 2 years when Daggett was in the field. I'd love to see Chase win the points. It's funny he didn't even plan on running for points to start the year but he left himself no choice running so well.
