Sycamore,Ill. July 19---Rain showers during the running of the “DeKalb Championship Night” Saturday Night at Sycamore Speedway forced cancellation of the event.

Before the rain showers, The Mid-State Equipment /Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Series, ran three heat races for the twenty-three cars present with Gage Walker, Brandon Waelti, and Robbie Ray scoring victories. Norm Ehrke won the heat race for the Badger 600 Micro Series presented by My Race Pass.

Next for Badger will be the Sunday night July 31 at Angell Park Speedway (Sun Prairie. WI). The “80th Anniversary Season Championship Race” will feature: the Badger Midgets, co-sanctioned Badger 600 Micros / POWRi North Micros, Wisconsin Dirt Racing Legends and the track debut of the Meyer Valves and Vacs Wingelss Sprint Series.
