We are looking for people in western New York throughout central western New York and throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio that would be interested in mini sprint racing. This is a more affordable way to begin racing. We currently run in Eastern New York and are looking for racers interested closer to home! Anyone interested please leave a comment!

What happened to 1000cc Mini Sprint racing in New York and Pennsylvania? It was pretty strong up there s just a few years ago. Did they out price themselves? Was one or two teams too strong? Hate to see them die off. Are the tracks too big and require too much power to be competitive on?

Run nonwing and we will be there.
The last minisprint racing we had near us was Thunder mountain in Lisle NY. They ran a year or two.
That's a great question, what happened to the 1000cc sprint around here ? The 600 micros are going strong.
This is the land of Modified racing, If it's not a modified, street stock or 4 cylinder people get confused and don't know what they're looking at.
It seems like a minisprint class would go great along side the NEWS sprints they are trying to establish.
Where are you running in NY ? Nonwing ?
PennCann speedway in N.E. PA runs what they call the small car classic, which includes nonwing 600's. It seems minisprints would be perfect on the card.

Empire Lightning Sprints ........runs around the eastern part of NY I believe ....check their schedule decent car count and a good group of drivers . No nonwing that I am aware of . Then you have a group called Outlaw midget series that I think is Ecotech and focus based midgets that will let the Lightning sprints run with them .... And if you are a brave soul...The ARDC midgets are letting Lightning sprints run with them . There are a few cars in P.A. but not too many ...not sure whats going on there ......We will be focused on nonwing this season so we will have to travel to Ohio to run the nonwing races at Waynesfield .....gotta do what ya gotta do !!!!!

1000cc mini sprint racing used to be bigger there were the Central NY Mini Sprints, but they are no longer a group. The tracks aren't too big, we've taken are car to Fonda which is a half mile track. When these cars race at smaller tracks ie 1/4 mile and so on they have better track times then some of the some of the modifieds,so speed or size isn't an issue. We race with the lightning sprints and the car count is ok, but fluctuates race to race and track to track. They scheduled a lot of friday races, which when your driving across the state a 6 hour trip its hard to make it to after work. We are thinking about Ohio, but would be nice to get more people together for more track options etc. We are willing to travel for racing a lot of drivers can't travel, but Saturday racing would be great! Just trying to get some guys interested in traveling throughout ny ohio, pa. Anyone that is interested send me a message on here.

We raced at Penn Can last year and its a nice track, when they change the schedule there's not much you can do! That is why I started this thread to get more guys together for more options.

I might have missed it, but you guys are running winged ?
If that's the case were not interested, but hopefully you'll grab some other guys.
Were a little behind with the car program (money wise) as we had planned on racing speedway as usual but seems track isn't opening.
