Harf banquet today!

A last note of reminder that the 64th Annual HARF Champions Banquet is TODAY.

Doors open @ 11 am
Lunch @ 1 pm w/awards to follow.
Tickets are $20.00 each with a promise you'll get free stuff at the front door worth more then that. Hope to see you there, bob.

Long time member and first time attendee to this years banquet. We had an absolute blast, great food, a neat banquet and some very nice people. A big thanks to Bob and the entire board for the hospitality. The banquet will be on my to do list from here on out.

We enjoyed the banquet very much! The presentations were nice and you got to hear from the winners, the food was very good and the fans were very enjoyable to talk with. We especially enjoyed talking with Jeff O'Connor and his daughter, Mel and Don Kenyon, Jon Noggle, Danny Burton and Scott Green. A large crowd turned out and the gifts given out more than paid back for your banquet ticket. Good job by all the HARF staff and look forward to next year's banquet!!

Thanks! Well, I chose the winners; how about that! I was surprised that Vuky wasn't already in. Hard to pick just two from all the deserving nominees. I had Tracy Hines on one of my ballots and Billy Vukovich on the other, with Richard Briscoe on both. I have two ballots because my wife is also a member. I have attended the banquet only once. Had tickets another time, and a state of emergency was declared because of an ice storm. Hope to attend again because it was really enjoyable. I have been a member since 1983 (thanks to the persuasiveness of George Seats). He used to say I was president of the Evansville division.

Even though we have never had a HARF event in the Evansville area, I still benefit from my membership several times per year. Tri-State Speedway did schedule an event a few years ago, and I was going to be the presenter. It got rained out, and was not rescheduled, so we still have never had a HARF event down here.
