R.I.P. Rod Lynch (Cop at the gate Kokomo)

Wanted to take a min. to let everyone know Rod the cop at the gate at Kokomo passed away in his sleep last night in Wisconsin while on a fishing trip with his friends.
Rob was a good friend of ours and never missed a chance to make us laugh Rest in Peace my friend from all of us at Spencer / Halfmoon Racing Jerry #66j stida.com / Halfmoon Resturant & Brewery / Colescotts Mobil-1 |

RIH Rod.
Very sad news. He always enjoyed pestering our little "guard" dog (as he referred to it). And, was always grateful when my wife would bring him homemade cookies. Nice man whose presence will be missed. |

I have had a lot of people calling and asking witch one was Rod, Rod was the big black cop that always had a smile on his face.

So sorry to hear this. Rod was really a great guy to talk to, and did his job well. He will be missed by many people, certainly including me. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Today we have lost a good man. Rod had always treated me and Ailsa with the upmost respect and humor since our first visit to Kokomo Speedway in 2011. Rod remembered us from then on, and become part of our racing family. I'm quite lost for words at his passing. God bless.
