Paramount among those ailments is congestive heart failure. Keep Crocky in your prayers, please.

Hope he gets better, he is a wonderful man.
I enjoyed visiting with him at Eldora this last June for a few hours,
over the years I always look forward to spending some time listening to
to his life stories. Went for a walk with him and I could hardly keep up, I believe
he is 89 and in great shape for that age.
Hang in there Crocky!

Stay strong Crocky, you are in all our prayers and thoughts. I had the privilege to spend some time with Crocky at Angell Park a few years back when he was inducted to the Midget Hall of Fame (and Tony Stewart flew in unannounced to honor him!). Talk about a fellow that did it his way! What a fascinating story teller he is. A tremendous testimony to the sport and a real nice guy.

I was just thinking about Crocky last week.
Thanks for letting us know that he is ill and giving us his address.

Crocky is an American original with more stories than anyone in any pits in the country, and an enthusiasm for racing that still dominates his life even today.
The first time I remember seeing him as in the parking lot at Eldora back in 1974. My buddy with me said, "Hey, there's Crocky Wright" as he got out of his old Volkswagon van. Over the next several years I found out just who Crocky was.
Hang in there Crocky. We still, very badly, need guys like you.

Thanks, Sandy, for the update. I was just wondering yesterday how he was doing. I'm sure I have an extra UMRA yearbook around that I can send him. I hope he gets well soon.
