Paging Mr. Don Moore...any thoughts regarding the current state of affairs in the world of Midget auto racing? Oh wait, no one paid attention back when all the major clubs had good car counts...

I have plenty of thoughts as an owner and survivor of 15 years in the sport. I've outlasted just about everybody who has ever owned a midget race team. Too many cyber bullies on here that have no idea how to debate a subject, so I'll leave it at that.

I think that if some of the discussions I've heard come true....there will be some options next year. I've spoken to 3 guys in the last two weeks looking to get into full midgets as well. Besides the car we already field, we may even add another car.
The abundance of quality cars, parts and engines that are available makes the sport more affordable today than it has been for 15 years. I personally feel that when most people say they want affordable racing...what they are really wanting to say is they want easy racing. People say there are no midget races...but we have went to 17 races with 12 of them being rainouts and that doesn't include the 10 or so Illinois and Indiana midget week shows that we missed due to a self inflicted wound. If all would've went well....we could have ran 28 or 29 shows and we aren't out of July yet. How much racing qualifies as being acceptable? And Yes....I did Hi-Jack this post.
