Bryan Clauson To Run Indiana Double

Greenwood, IN – On May 24th, after completing the Indianapolis 500 in the KVSH/Jonathan Byrd’s Racing Chevrolet, Bryan Clauson will continue his race day by heading north to Kokomo Speedway to race in Sunday night’s “Kokomo Klassic” behind the wheel of the Jonathan Byrd’s Racing sponsored Bryan Clauson Inc/Priority Aviation Services #7.

Bryan talked about the chance to do the “Indiana Double”, saying "I'm excited to race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Kokomo Speedway on the same day! Kokomo's my absolute favorite place to be on a Sunday night, and I’m always telling people to get out there, so I’m pretty pumped to be running this double. We’re going to make it an awesome day for the fans to do the double too! I can't wait to see familiar faces at the 500 and then to have everybody make the trip up to Kokomo that night!"

David Byrd added: “When Bryan asked me what I thought about him running his sprint car at Kokomo on Sunday night after the 500, I told him that I would have been surprised and disappointed if he hadn’t planned on doing that anyway. Along with IMS, I know how much Bryan loves Kokomo Speedway, so it only seems right to see him do the double. We’ve already told everybody at Indy that after Bryan wins the 500 we’ll have to take a break from the post-race celebrations so that he can run the feature at Kokomo. We’ve suggested that they put plans in place to have all of the media and staff head up to Kokomo to continue the festivities.”

Fans are going to be able to complete their own “Indiana Double” with ease by purchasing a comprehensive package at the store at www.bryanclauson.com. With this extremely affordable package, race fans will receive tickets to both the Indy 500 and Kokomo Speedway, parking, escorted bus transportation to Indy and Kokomo, breakfast, lunch, a mid-afternoon snack, dinner, beverages, and a commemorative hat or t-shirt.

Kokomo Speedway is a fast, ¼ mile semi-banked clay oval located in Kokomo, Indiana. The storied speed plant commenced operation in 1947 and will embark on its 68th season this weekend. Kokomo Speedway, located at 2455 Davis Rd, is a weekly facility, running on Sunday nights from May into September. Bryan Clauson is the defending Kokomo Speedway track champion.

Me and the mailman have done indy 500 and kokomo over the past few years and it's a great weekend events. Going to be a great time and hopefully that clauson will make some history and might open some more doors for all dirt track racing drivers to live the dream that all works so hard for. Good luck clauson and we will be there supporting your efforts. Thanks

He'll just have to tell the media to follow him to Kokomo, he can talk to them after hot laps and between heat races.

Tell the fans to follow him as well. Can you imagine a quarter million trying to GYATK?
