Your asking why did this Midwest Connection guy mention the winner of an LCQ. Well, lets look back to 2 September 2001 at DuQuoin, Illinois. Fourty five Silver Crowners come to race this day. Fourty took to the time clock. The LCQ started 20 cars...John Heydenreich wins The top five alone were a wealth of racing history of and to themselves. The top 5 were: #69 John Heydenreich, #40 Brad Noffsinger, #74 Rich Tobias, Jr., #23 Jack Hewitt, & #25 Derek Davidson

The "Ted Horn 100" was won by #10 Paul White... positions 2 thru 5 - #35 Jerry Coons, Jr., #51 Russ Gamester, #74 Rich Tobias, Jr., #19 Dave Steele
