Interesting..... as of right now we will have TWO Ohio Sprint Speedweeks going on at the same time.

I said that in the other post. That with Attica switching but keeping the same date. Renegade plans to put their Ohio Sprint Week right against All Stars. And the real stars are only going to be at one.

Some drivers will benefit (short term) while the promoters and fans will suffer. My fear is that, when faced with the option of a short field at track 'A' or a short field at track 'B', some fans will choose option 'C': stay home. IMO this has the potential to produce few winners and many losers. Sure hope I'm wrong!

You laugh because I'm different. I laugh because you're all the same. Copied from the back of the #16 supermodified.

Competition is usually a good thing but two sprint speedweeks head to head in the state of Ohio could turn out terrible. I too fear low car counts at some tracks which could hurt all involved regardless of series or tracks.

If Eldora June 20 & Waynesfield June 21 flips from ASCOC to Renegade for those races. The rest of the ASCOC speedweek will probably devolve..

For the races I have been to, on a good night during Ohio Sprint Speedweek you might top off at 40-45 cars. A little more on the weekend events. No matter where the big names go - whether they all go to Track A or Track B, or split right down the middle, we might quite possibly be looking at races where you do not even have a B Main, or worse, not even a full field for the A Main.

Yes, this could hurt.
