Helmet Autographs

I have a question ....I have a helmet that has drivers autographs on it done in Magic Marker ....some are Parnelli, Donald Davidson and some more ...I hope to get others ...the question is ...is there anything I can spray over the names to keep them from getting smeared or messed up ....I want to clean it but am kind of afraid to ...Any one have any ideas ???...Thanks ....

Call a Sherman/williams or Porter paint store the should be able to give sound advise.

You should be able to wipe a damp cloth over it with some mild soap. Don't use any chemical sprays, or even Windex.

I did helmets for the Vogler scholarship for years once the ink dries you are fine . I would wipe with a damp cloth like mscs20 said

You could always try a clear nail polish or something as well.

mscs20 is the helmet God and guru. He knows everything there is to know, listen to him :-)
