Sprint cars are well known for Slide Jobs..you make the call on this one between Devin Gilpin in the 1G, and Randy Lines in the 18 from Thursday night at Brownstown in the Modifieds a clean move? Or was it questionable?

If that is "questionable" id hate to hear what you'd have to say about the PowerI toyota kunz fest slide-athon that was there a while back....

Oh I think it was a hell of a move. People are all up in arms about it and debating it over on Facebook.

wow
That yellow car was a rocket ship. He could have passed whomever and whenever he wanted to. I guess he chose to make his move as soon as possible. If the tire marked the entrance to the turn he might have been charging just a little (10 feet). Had his nose had been up even to the other cars driver at that tire the other driver should have given him racing room and he did so, however the other driver appeared to get just a little aggressive after he had been cleared. At these speeds we can't get too precise as we don't have stop action video available to the racers in real time. All in all It looked like a heck of a good pass to me. Patience is a commodity not to prevalent in short track racing as racers see them selves being short on time to make their moves, however watching an old pro race they very often use their patience to their advantage. Looked good to me. Lines just kind of stopped instead of having an immediate counter to throw back at him. He left the door open and Gilpin's the man, so he's going to take any opportunity that you give him. If you give the shark the opportunity to bite you, you can't blame the shark.

Clean, Just as Rico's on Bright was. Guys past you, you can see he's headed for a spot and you stay in it, Its your own fault.
Guy isn't past you and still side by side, IT isn't clean as the other guy doesn't have the same option.
