The Midwest TQ Racing League presented by Jenmarco.com event scheduled for Saturday evening June 28th at the Montpelier Motor Speedway has been cancelled due to saturated grounds and racing surface. A very cloudy morning and forecast for additional heavy rain does not leave a window for track crews to complete the drying of the grounds and complete the entire program.

The MTQRL will resume its 2014 season next week with races at the Shelby County Fair in Shelbyville, Ind. on Thursday July 3rd and the "Rushville Nationals" at the Rush County Fairgrounds in Rushville, Ind. on Friday July 4th.

We rely heavily on teams that travel to MMS as we do not have a ton of local cars, so we do our best to make the best call as early as we can for fans and race teams.

The fireworks portion of the program has been rescheduled to the Greg Pitts Memorial race on Saturday, July 12.
