A thank you to Bloomington. Friday the weather was really rough , and Bloomington still put on the show. Torrential rain between Bloomington and Martinsville. I know this, because I was in it. A shower at the track a little earlier made for a sparse crowd. Still they put on the show. A lot of people complain if a track pulls the plug . These guys put on a show , when they had every chance to pull the plug. Thanks for the show.
As for the track, fast is an understatement. I've been going to Bloomington for the last 25 years, and Friday was the fastest I've ever seen non wing cars go in the feature. As for passing, there was plenty. Jeff Bland started in the 9th row and finished third, so there was passing. A really great night of racing. Especially when Dave Darland spanks the kids again.
