Just a general question here. What time does a show at Kokomo usually get done at? I am seriously debating making the haul down from Wisconsin for the finale Sunday night. Since I am in the Central time zone it will save me an hour on the way back anyways. Any info anyone can give would be awesome! I know things happen and sometimes shows go late, but from posts I have seen, Kokomo does a pretty good job of getting the show done at a decent time.
Thanks everyone! |

The O'Connor family does a great job of starting on time and moving the program in a timely manner. They will be running the USAC midgets, sprint cars and street stocks. They normally run three classes on Sunday night and we have gotten out of there as early as 9:00 PM but it normally is around9:30-10:00 PM when the first feature is completed. I would expect that this week should be in that time frame. They start hot laps at 6:00 PM. You won't regret the racing that is for sure.

I don't want to mislead you. I said that the FIRST feature is usually done by then. If you plan on staying for the midgets and sprints I would expect it to be later than that. Unless something unforseen happens (weather, accident with fence repair, etc) they will move the show along to get visitors home at a decent hour. Since it is a Sunday night track, they understand people don't want to spend all night at the track. I hope this helps.

You will not be disappointed. As said the o conners run a very tight program. Could easily see midget and Sprint features done by 10.four and five wide racing will help the time fly by. Lol.
