Just wondering who of u attended and what ur thoughts were . I hope everyone u encountered in our fair city was polite and cordial. I thought it was an awfully gd race . I can't make it tonight but looking forward to Macon .
As for the World of Outlaws hauler... Mike Hess who most in the midget world should know... works for the World of Outlaws as a Technical Inspector and also drives one of the haulers. Mike was passing through from Kokomo to Lakeside, Ks and stopped by for the POWRi race and helped push cars. It was great to have Mikey back in our neck of the woods for a night. In fact, Mike had plans to race last night until the car he was to drive got tore up a week or two ago.
Had a ball at Quincy last night. Racing was good. People were great. Midget beers were a bargain. Cheese fries were the wife's dinner and she was happy...so all was good. Thank you Mr. Dobson for a great place to see the race! We will return.
I thought it was pretty good. Heats werevery entertaining. Multiple grooves. Feature done at 10:45. Hagen took off and left the others behind. 3 wide racing back in the pack with. 1 to go. Pretty decent crowd as the night went on. Plenty of fans from out of state, and different countries as well. Midget "weeks" back to back are a good thing for fans thet like to go to a lot of races in a short period of time. Not much travel between the two once you get here.
Thought it was a brilliant opening night. Really liked the track. Very friendly and helpful staff. Really good atmosphere in the stands. And the racing was superb.
Really can not find any fault or problem with my first ever visit.
Well done to all involved in putting on a great midget show.
Personaly I'd like Quincy to be part of the 2015 week. Maybe increase it to 5 days so Jacksonville also becomes part of what I believe will be a growing and MUST DO racing week.
UK USAC fan. No Invert, No Interest. No Gimmick Racing.
