We have had the K&N Filters USCS Modified Series on the schedule for Thursday, May 29th at Talladega Short Track since day one as a tentative event. Since they do not race Modifieds at TST on a regular basis we do not know if there will be enough cars for a field for this SPECIAL EVENT. We need to make a decision by this Saturday (May 10th) whether there are going to be enough Modified racers who want to race there this year for this SPECIAL EVENT to happen. The payout would be $1000 to win $100 for last place with a $50 entry fee. This event is during Round #4 of the USCS Sprint Speedweek 2014 and includes the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters winged sprint cars and the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini sprints....plus Nesmith Dirt Late Model, Sportsman and the Hot Shots divisions.

On the following night (Friday, May 30th) the K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modifieds and new Gulf Coast Modified Series are set to compete in a co-sanctioned event at Magnolia Motor Speedway for the same $1000 to win and $100 to start/ $50 entry fee pay out. That racing program also includes the USCS Sprint Cars and USCS 600 mini sprints as well.

Please call us at 770-460-7223 or text USCS at 770-865-6097 with your interest on the Talladega event. Or email peteuscs@att.net if you plan to compete in this once a year opportunity at one of the South's most famed dirt oval tracks.
