Just my opinion I like to see the guys give it all they got run it all out. I like the invert makes for better racing in the main. I am just wondering if there is any thing they can do to make these guys run all out from qualifying to the heat to the b and on in to the A? I know set up of the car has a lot to do with it and track conditions. But some of these guys that are qualifying fourth or fifth. Seem to be running away in the main. From what should be your faster cars. What does everyone else think?
This conspiracy theory has been around for a long time..
Think about it...
if you are qualifying 10th out of 50 -- how would you know what the time you need to have to be 6th fastest.... and I defy you to be able to clock any specific target time ...
It just is not possible !!!
YOu really believe -- you crew chief tells you to run a 13.123 to be 6th fastest -- and you would be able to do that.... no way....
As an example -- Coons jr. has qualified in top 6 the last 2 nights -- certainly -- he had no control of this - he ran as fast as he could -- but, as you comment -- qualifying in the top 6 is a large advantage ..
tonight - one of the top 6 cars -- did not make the feature -- this moved Coons, jr. back a row - he still won..
but, how would your theory apply to this circumstance?
