I think my ticket for 5 days was about $260. Pit passes were $45 per day. But, if you have tickets they are half price. You have to get the pit pass for the balance of the week and turn in your tickets. Then they give you a special wristband with your seat number written on it. Not sure when they start selling. I know it's pretty early.

Wednesday thru Friday reserved seats are $49, Saturday night is $61 so all 5 nights is $257. If you want to upgrade to a pit pass it's $15 for each night but the "catch" is you have to have tickets for each remaining night and upgrade the whole package; in other words, if you upgrade on Wednesday you pay $75.00, turn in all 5 tickets, and you get a wristband with your seat # marked on it that you need to keep on for the rest of the week. If you wait until Thursday, give the lady $60.00, turn in your 4 remaining tickets, and so on. You can't just upgrade one night (until you get to Saturday), it's all or nothing. I didn't realize that on Friday when I tried to upgrade and was told I had to have my Saturday ticket; the sign at the ticket booth wasn't really worded all that well. After I calmed down a little I drove back to my motel, got the ticket and paid for a 2-day upgrade. I'm glad I did. It was well worth the extra money to get to experience everything that goes on in there. Also, I'm glad I didn't wait until Saturday to upgrade. The atmosphere was a lot more relaxed on Friday so it was much easier to wander around, take pictures and visit. Saturday the place was electric with everybody flying around, pushing out for hot laps and coming back in to prep for the alphabet.

Don't forget to add the $10.00 handing charge. My receipt shows $267.00.

Didn't know there was one; I bought mine at face value from a private party.
