An article was posted on Grantland yesterday about a story written in 1991 by Ed Hinton entitled "The Last Ride of AJ Foyt". Some of you may be familiar with the article and/or stories involved, but whether you are or aren't it's a great read. Also, very cool to see a site like Grantland giving open wheel racing some love.

Great article on the best who ever drove. You can do whatever you want in racing, but until your face is on the Borg Warner Trophy, it doesn't amount to much. AJ has his face on there 4 times. Best part is twice with a roadster and twice with a rear engine car. He really could drive anything, anytime , anywhere.
