Another Lawrenceburg Question

My plans have changed somewhat and will be traveling to Lawrenceburg from a slightly different direction. Previously I've taken I-69 to Anderson then 9 to 52 at Rushville, then 3 down to 421 to 50. (I know, I like the scenic tour)

This time I'm thinking of taking US 27 all the way to 274 to 50. It wouldn't take me as far west then back east.

Any ideas on construction? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Coming from Mid-Michigan

That is also a scenic route. I live just off of 27.

I see lots of Michigan plates on this route.

Do you mean I-74 instead of 274? If you do, I would take the Indiana State Route 1 (Lawrenceburg) exit and go south for about 10 miles. When you get to US 50, turn right and the track is a mile or two on the right. There is construction in the I-74 & I-275 area and it is one lane.

State Road 1 is closed off I-74. You would have to go 74E. to 275S, then to 50W.

Saturday night I got off 74 at 101 went south 6 miles to 48 took it into the burg. This route didn't seem to add any time to the trip but 48 is a little curvey.

IS CURVEY A WORD?

Yes, but I seem to recall that it just might have a feminine connotation :O:

From Indy:
The I74 East to Sunman (Rt101) south to Rt 48
Rt48 East to Rt50, Rt 50 East (Left Turn) to the track is the shortest and most direct route to the track with Rt 1 closed. This saves almost 10-15 miles from the trip.
Good Luck.

That's a left turn off of St Rt 48 on to St Rt 50 east then the track will be on the left ! Honk @ my house when you pass the south end of Sunman. (But i won't be there i'll be at the track ! :thumb
