I find it interesting that Kevin Miller made this statement. "left me thrilled we are handing the keys to the series to people with vision and the capabilities to execute successfully". I thought he was hired for that very reason to lead and advance the USAC brand. Obviously, that certainly hasn't happened with any of the other series.

Opens wheel racing (mainly non wing anything) does NOT want change, advancement, success, and especially vision. We as a whole only want to ***** about it...

Lets take a look at what you said by breaking it down. Change: We want change, just for the better and not the worse. So far, Kevin Miller hasn't done much for the better and USAC has done a lot for the worse. Look at the fact there is little to no pavement racing in USAC. No pavement sprint cars, few pavement Silver Crown races and very few pavement midget races in any division. Advancement: Not sure which advancement you are talking about. If you are talking technological advancement, USAC stopped that with the front engine sprint car being banned (a good thing). USAC did take on the New Generation Silver Crown cars and we all know how well that was received. If you are talking about organizational advancement the jury's out on that. If anything, USAC has regressed decades. Success: What person doesn't want success? I think everyone wants USAC (and open wheel anything) to be a success. The biggest problem is there is so much division in racing. What is okay in one organization isn't okay in another organization. If you want success then you need to evaluate what is working and expand that. Look at what isn't working and get a consensus on what the core problem is and fix it along with promoting things. Vision: To get a good clear vision, one must cure the rectal glaucoma that is effecting the leadership. Until that is remedied, no amount of idea, thoughts, input or suggestions will make one freakin bit of difference. |

Have no idea what this means for the overall financial situation at USAC? I sure hope Traxis is still going to sponsor the SC division. I remember Kevin was celebrating when the Torc deal was landed, he called it as his new "cash cow"!!! Hopefully they are still supporting USAC! The future needs a cash cow!!
