"Armstrong looks to repeat in Aug. 31/Sep. 1 Pepsi Midget Nationals”
“Sunday’ 50-lap feature to determine Badger Championships”

Sun Prairie, Wis., August 23---Defending Champion Caleb Armstrong leads the list of drivers excepted to compete in the 32nd annual Pepsi Midget Nationals at Angell Park Speedway on Saturday and Sunday Nights Aug. 31-Sep. 1.The event will be co-sanctioned by the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series and Stark Automotive Group/Mid-State Equipment Badger Midget Series.

A complete program of racing is slated each night, will Saturday being highlighted by a 30-lap feature. Sunday’s 50-lap feature will pay $4,000 to win and crown the Pepsi Nationals Champion.
Sunday’s events will also include the 10th annual Dave Schulenberg Memorial Dash, along with the popular Pepsi “Lets Make a Deal” fan activities on the front stretch.
Brad Kuhn seeking his fourth career Badger Drivers Championship leads defending POWRi champion Andrew Felker by 116-points. The battle for the Badger Car Owners Championship has Danny Felker No. 11 leading Bill Ecker No. 57 by three markers. A total of 232 points are available over the two days. Zach Daum holds a slim margin over Felker in POWRi points.

Also competing both nights will be the Badger 600 Micros, where Matt Paderta holds a three-point lead over defending Champion Chad Bogar. Spectator gates open at 4;30 pm, with practice at 6:00 pm, followed by racing.

Good to see another 50 lap race before end of season.
