KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Aug. 9, 2013 – Donny Schatz turned in one of the most impressive runs in sprint car history on Saturday night in the 53rd FVP Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway when he charged from the second row of the Last Chance Showdown to victory lane for seventh time in the past eight years.



Schatz started the A-main in 21st after winning the Last Chance Showdown and picked off car after car until he finally passed leader Brian Brown with nine laps to go in the 50-lap event. Brown held on to finish second ahead of Justin Henderson, Paul McMahan and Chad Kemenah.
